new blogs + remembering.

Well everybody, new years wishes are in order!! I hope your holidays were memorable and refreshing. Impromptu poll: do you call the new year two thousand-and-ten or twenty-ten?
Five years ago, back when I was blogging in the good old world of livejournals, I stumbled across a meme that provides a catalog of the last year; silly, memorable, sad, important. While everyone is dreaming of the new exciting year that’s beginning, I like to look back a little, just to remember where I’ve come from, where I’m going, and the joys and pains on the journey there. Maybe it will be helpful to you as well? Scroll down for the full list.

Also, here are some new blogs that I’m loving to read as of late. This will be a year of light and golden hues, I think.

What a good question regarding “2010”…if I’m linking it up and saying two years together, like 2009 and 2010, then I say two thousand nine and two thousand ten. When I say it on it’s own then I say twenty ten.

  2. I say and prefer 20-10 🙂

I almost wrote an entry about that “linguistic” debate but decided I didn’t care and those who are fighting about it need a life 😛 I wish more would have answered the poll though… I’m curious to see what people think, too!

Good LJ meme- those were the days! You should answer the questions up there. Mine are on my blog post.

  3. I search and recently came across your blog and have been reading along. It was wonderful blog.
